STOP EVERYTHING. BLACK SWAN AFFAIR IS LIVE.
“This book owned me as I turned page after page, wanting to both savor every beautifully written word and race to the end. Black Swan Affair is easily one of my top reads of the year.” – USA Today Bestselling Author, Meghan March
I’ve loved him as long as I can remember.
The gangly boy with big brown eyes and unruly hair who grew up into an intoxicating man. He wears scruff like he invented it and ambles with a swagger that makes panties drop.
We grew up together. We played Ghost in the Graveyard. Had our own rock band. It didn’t matter that he was five years older than me. It didn’t matter that he looked at me as a kid sister even as I grew into a woman. It didn’t even matter when he left me behind to go to college and start his adult life.
He’d be back.
He was always meant to be mine.
He came back, all right. But instead of smelling of promises, he stunk of betrayal. And he destroyed me—us—the day he married my sister instead of me.
So I did the only thing a girl like me in my position could do.
I got my revenge.
I married his brother, Kael.
Now we’re one big happy fucking family.

About the Author:
I’m just a regular ol’ Midwest girl who likes Game of Thrones and am obsessed with Modern Family and The Goldbergs. I run, I eat, I run, I eat. It’s a vicous cycle. I love carbs, but there’s love-hate relationship with my ass and thighs. Mostly hate. I like a good cocktail (oh hell…who am I kidding? I love any cocktail). I’m a huge creature of habit, but I’ll tell you I’m flexible. I read every single day and if I don’t get a chance…watch the hell out, I’m a raving bitch. My iPad and me: BFFs. I’m direct and I make no apologies for it. I swear too much. I love alternative music and in my next life I want to be a bad-ass female rocker. I hate, hate, hate spiders, telemarketers, liver, acne, winter and loose hairs that fall down my shirt (don’t ask, it’s a thing).
Hot, hot, and so damn hot!!! Black Swan written byK.L. Kreig is an amazing story. It is told mostly from Maverick’s perspective and jumps back and forth from present to past. Black Swan Affair is the story of a woman in love with her childhood sweetheart, but who marries his brother instead. She does it to punish her true love for marrying her sister. This story has so many levels and depths to it. It’s not predictable at all, and it keeps you on your toes.
I loved this book. I was immediately drawn in and I couldn’t put the book down. In fact, I stayed up late to finish it. I absolutely loved how K.L. Kreig kept you guessing throughout the book. I never figured out the plot twists that were built in and I certainly never expected the book to end the way it did.
The other thing I loved was the angst. The incredible angst. I mean Maverick is in love with her husband’s brother but she’s also starts to fall in love with her husband as well. This book is super steamy. My belly did tons of flips while I was reading. The way the character’s relationships are set up you just want to tell Killian, her brother-in-law, “Take that jerk. You married her sister back off!” Because while Killian is married to her sister, he’s still completely in love with Maverick.
This book was amazing. The character’s struggles, the plot twists, the angst, and the steam make this book a five star read for me. This book is one of my all time favorites and it’s hard to get on that list. I know this is one I will be rereading when I’m in a book funk. Stop what you are doing now and one click this. You won’t be sorry.
