Weekend (Reckless Beat in Vegas)
Undeniable by Eden Summers is the fifth and final book in the Reckless Beat Series. This story features Ryan and Leah. Ryan is in the midst of a divorce. He and Leah have been best friends for years and have kept things on the platonic level. To make things more complicated, Ryan is in a fake relationship with a fellow rockstar.
The characters in this story are very well developed. I really like Leah. She is a very strong and independent woman. She fights tooth and nail to keep Ryan at arm’s length as she tries to navigate through her feelings for him. This book was not a quick and easy love story. Ryan and Leah have to struggle and fight for their relationship.
Seeing that this is the fifth book into the series, I really wish I’d read the the series before starting this one. It took me a bit of time to get into the story because I didn’t have all of the background knowledge of the characters. That being said, this is a stand alone and it can be read that way. The other characters in the story are also really well developed. I will go back and start with the first book because I’d really like to see how all of them got their happily ever afters.
I liked this book for it’s characters, its struggle, and the fact that sometimes love isn’t always easy. You’re going to face road blocks along the way. This is a good read from Eden Summers.
