in Paris …
tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.
devil inviting me to sin,
dance in the bright moonlight.
me, my body sang–
to another man,
want to let me go.
I’m a writer, a hopeless romantic, a wanderer, a dreamer, a cynic, and a believer. And, I might be a bit crazy – but who isn’t?I believe in happy endings however I know that not everyone is lucky enough to get one, but such is life. I think fine lines exist to be pushed and possibly crossed.
Love Me in the Dark by Mia Asher is one amazing twisty ride. This story is told from three different perspectives: William, Sebastien, and Valentina. Valentina ventures to Paris in hopes of making things right with her husband, William. She ends up meeting the broken, Sebastien.
I fell in love with Valentina because she is trying to find herself again. I think we as women find ourselves in her position at one point in our lives or another. I could really identify with her and I loved how she found who she was again. Mia Asher did such an amazing job of plot twists and turns in this book. Sure, you are waiting for the other shoe to drop, but when it does, it’s not anything I expected at all.
Mia Asher’s writing style drew me in from the beginning. She has this very vivid way of expressing her characters and the world that surrounds them. This was such a great book. It was unexpected and amazing. You’ll need to one click this one right away.
