It’s an action some encourage and others dissuade. Since the day I was born, fighting has been instilled into my mind. Regardless of your opinion, it’s something we all do. At some point in time, consciously or subconsciously—either emotionally, physically, or spiritually—we struggle. Many will strive to withstand their battles, but only those who were born to fight will overcome them.
A true fighter lacks weakness. They abstain from carelessness and refrain from trusting their opponents, but most importantly, they never accept defeat.
I am a true born fighter. Each second of every day, I fight. Rip the ones I love most away from me, I kill. If I’ve learned anything from this life, it’s to always expect the unexpected. As long as my heart continues to beat, and no matter the costs, I will be victorious.
Ohhh Julie, you made me wait nearly 2 years for this book, and it was well worth the wait.
I first read this book back in 2015 when it was an Unedited ARC paperback I purchased when first meeting Julie at the Nashville author event. I messaged Julie when I finished saying I enjoyed the book but it needed work. From the first chapter of this book I could see the difference. I didn’t want to put it down.
A girl hurting from a tragedy, a boy lost not looking to save her, but fell hard.
This books covers many story lines. From love, to hurt, pain and happiness. At times my heart was breaking. But not for the main characters Madisyn and Blaze but for the secondary characters.
I found the book flowed really well and having the story line from both Madisyn and Blaze’s POV was fantastic.
The ending made me want more. I can’t wait for the next instalment of this series. Fatal Captivity. Ant come quick enough.
