Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?

In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.

So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.

It’s so romantic.

Violet is totally stoked to set a date.

Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.

Oh how I’ve missed violets over sharing.

What’s a happily ever after without a bit of a struggle.
Watching both Alex and Violet find their feet within their relationship was a great dimension to their “ending”. Coming through the hurdles that life threw them and learning to live as one helped with their personal and relationship growth.
The continued interaction of the entire crew kept the story going. Throw in a nice little surprise a bit of a make over an accident and general good times and we have a funny fun some times emotional story.
I did find my self a little over the MC and beaver references. And the dressing MC up is a bit to creepy and childish for me.
I also found that I was left wondering about a few things,
Where does Alex’s career go
Does Violet continue to work
Questions about the other couples
And are they swingers, I really need a solid answer to that.
I saw a while ago Lance will get a story, I really hope so. That man is intense and I need his story.
Overall I did enjoy the story. I loved who married them, that was cute little twist
